    Parent Taught Behind the Wheels only with parents and road test A+ Driving Academy. After purchase please read the full welcome email. 

    • This option is a faster option when compared to the driving school.
    • For students who already have completed a full permit program. 
    • This program includes everything a parent needs to complete the behind-the-wheels portion of the driver's education program.

Steps to Getting Your Driver's License

Step 1. Take the 32-hour class and DPS written exam online.

Step 2. Get your instruction permit at DPS.

Step 3. Complete behind-the-wheel lessons and observation hours (14 total).

Step 4. Practice driving with your parents/guardian and complete the 30 hour log.  

Step 5. On or after your 16th birthday, if you've completed all your driving lessons and had a valid Texas permit for six months, you can take private lessons and or the road test at our driving school with our vehicles.
